Maunlad Canning Corporation is a family-owned corporation primarily engaged in manufacturing of canned goods (sardines, mackerel and corned beef). The company started in 1968 importing Young's Town Sardines from Japan under the name of Earldon Enterprises. This was later changed to Lapaz Sales Center. In 1988, Fishwealth Canning Corporation was formed and built it's first factory in Malabon, producing Youngstown Sardines for the C and D market. A second factory was built in Navotas under Maunlad Canning Corporation, and the third factory for canned corned beef and eventually in 2007 the fourth and latest factory was made in Zamboanga to supply the market demand in Mindanao.
